Dream Pills Devlog #1 – The Beginning of a Long Journey

Today marks a significant day for our small team and the very first steps in the development of Dream Pills, a psychological horror game inspired by the eerie and unsettling atmosphere of Silent Hill. This is the beginning of a long journey, one that we hope to embark on together with the community, embracing your feedback and ideas as we craft something truly special.

Alpha Demo Released!

We are excited to announce that the first alpha demo of Dream Pills has just been released! This is an early version of the game, designed to give you a taste of what we are aiming to achieve. While the content is still in its raw stages, we hope you can feel the unsettling atmosphere, the cryptic narrative, and the tension building up in the shadows. This alpha is just the tip of the iceberg, and we’re eager to see how you interact with it.

To accompany the demo, we’ve also added the very first screenshots of Dream Pills. These snapshots capture the essence of the game’s psychological horror, showcasing the environments, lighting, and key elements that will define the experience. These are a work in progress, of course, but we wanted to share this with you to offer a glimpse of the visual direction we’re heading towards.

Dream Pills Goes Public on itch.io!

We’ve officially made Dream Pills public on itch.io, and you can now access the alpha demo directly from our page. This will be our primary platform for releasing updates, gathering feedback, and building a community around the game. Your thoughts, comments, and critiques will help shape Dream Pills as it evolves over time.

Participating in the Scream Zone August Game Jam

To kickstart our journey, Dream Pills will be participating in the Scream Zone August Game Jam! This game jam is all about creating terrifying experiences that resonate with horror fans, and we couldn’t think of a better way to introduce our game to the world. While the jam provides a timeline for us to push this alpha out, we plan to continue developing the game far beyond this event. This is just the beginning.
